Handwoven Mexican Zapotec rug

Bright, bold and full of character, this is a handwoven Zapotec rug from Oaxaca in Mexico. Woven in wool with a reversible flatweave, it features striking turquoise blues, deep navy, cream and rich reds, with tribal diamond motifs and stylised birds. Likely made in the late 20th century, it’s a decorative, durable piece more than a collectible antique.
