Unlike traditional motion sensors, this controller uses high-frequency radar technology to detect even the slightest human presence, making it ideal for smart lighting, energy-saving systems, and automation applications.Key Features • Human Presence Detection (High Sensitivity) Utilizing 24GHz radar technology, the controller can detect micro-movements such as breathing or slight body shifts. This ensures that lights or systems remain active even when a person is sitting still, providing a more comfortable and intelligent user experience. • Wide Detection Capability The sensor supports a detection range of up to 3–4 meters, making it suitable for small to medium indoor spaces. • Penetration Ability The radar signal can penetrate thin gypsum boards, walls, or non-metal materials up to approximately 6 cm thick, allowing for flexible and concealed installation. • Ambient Light Sensor Integration Equipped with a built-in light sensor, the device only operates when ambient light is below 30 lux, ensuring energy efficiency by preventing activation in bright environments.⸻Important Notes & Installation Guidelines • Detection Range Maximum effective detection distance is 3–4 meters. Performance may vary depending on the environment. • Material Penetration Limitations • Can penetrate thin non-metal materials (e.g., gypsum board, plastic, wood up to ~6 cm) • Cannot penetrate metal • Do not install inside metal lamp housings, as this will block the signal • Driver Interference If the lighting fixture includes a driver (power supply), maintain a distance of 15–20 cm between the radar module and the driver to avoid signal interference. • Sensitivity to Micro-Movements The sensor is highly sensitive and may be triggered by slight movements such as: • Fans • Curtains moving due to wind Therefore, it is not recommended for outdoor or windy environments. • Light Sensor Behavior • The sensor only operates when ambient light is below 30 lux • In bright environments, the sensor remains inactive • If daytime operation is required, the light sensor can be covered with black tape to disable this function • Delay Off Function After no micro-movement is detected, the system will automatically turn off after approximately 20 seconds
